Would be a five star jean if the rise was cut for a tall. I ordered these in tall 8 and the length is fine. They fit in the hips and thighs without being tight even after washing and drying. But the rise is not cut for a tall size and the jeans have a terrible gap in the back where they end up on the upper hip of a tall girl. There is no tapering to allow for a waist.It's been a long time since I ordered EB products directly. I used to buy a lot their pants because of the option for a Tall in women's sizes so I had forgotten that EB doesn't usually have XS or size 4 in Tall, which is the size I need these days. Nevertheless, the size 6 works okay with a belt and since I wanted them for outdoor activities anyway, it doesn't really matter that it's such a loose fit and they look nice and slouchy with ankle boots and rolled up enough to show off the flannel side. Conclusion: nice length and warm, but more of grunge look if you are tall and slender.I like them for the warmth and comfort. They seemed to run just a little big, but I'd buy them again.Comfy - feels like wearing pajamas.Warm - cut the wind and stayed warm even in a foot of snow.Waistband gaps a bit in the back if your waist is much smaller than your hips- nothing a quick dart can’t fix.I will be wearing these all winter.The button to the pants was in s little bag zipped to the belt loop.So strange. It must have been someone else's return that some how for mailed back out.Waiting for my exchange since this was a gift for my mom.Fit well, boyfriend fit so not tight on legs. Nice lining, very soft, not very thick so good for shopping or a walk on a very cold day. Only wish they came in a darker denim color.Cozy flannel lining is so soft! These pants launder well and look good.These pants are warm, flattering, and stylish. Highly recommend.
