I am generally a size small/XS, high waisted jean size 2-4. I am 5'4", 130 lbs with a 28" waist. After reading some reviews which said that the jeans run small, I ordered a medium in both the blue and the black. The pants are great quality, they are real denim and not the fake cheap kind. They look durable and I think are well made for the price. However, the medium was too big for me around the waist and crotch area. I could definitely wear a belt if I wanted to, and I still wore them but had to roll up the cuffs a little bit. Even without a belt they would stay up, but not in the same place as the models so it affected the look a little- fit very oversized but could still be cute, just not like the pics.The black pants were a little smaller than the blue so I kept those, but ordered a small in the blues next. These fit PERFECT and looked exactly like the model! They fit my waist above the belly button, while the mediums kind of hung below. Definitely had the fitted waist I was looking for and then the baggier bottoms. I'm in love!!!!I would highly recommend buying these jeans. If you are close to my height/weight, I would definitely recommend getting small or your usual size.
