Exceptional! First, the 16.5 oz denim is heavy and the indigo color is dark and rich. The color is excellent and so should face nicely over time. The jeans are nice and stiff, which they are supposed to be for raw denim. They are already developing some nice creases which should look good as they face. The taper on them is less than I expected. They leave a nice amount of room in hips, butt and thighs, so you can move around, squat down to pick things up, sitting on the floor cross legged comfortably, etc. I also like how how they sit on the waist, somewhere between a mid and high rise jean. The pockets are deep. I now see why Tellason jeans get such a rave review. They’re exceptional. As much as I have always loved Levi’s, over the years it seems their denim has gotten thinner and lightweight. These Tellason jeans are the perfect remedy.Sizing wise, I ordered my normal size, which is 34, and which is the same size I wear in Levi’s and Lee jeans. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.
